The first week of selling Wild Heaven in Georgia has been amazing. We’ve met lots of beer lovers and keep hearing “so-and-so was sold out of Wild Heaven” – a good problem, we think. And it kind of is a problem – demand has been so strong that we’re being forced to push back our planned Alabama launch to around the 2nd week of October to ensure that Atlanta stays supplied. Sorry, Alabama, but we’ll be there soon!
Here’s a terrific video taken by Chris Rank during our visit to Taco Mac – Perimeter Place. Watch the whole thing – the way the logo reappears is kinda cool….
Finally, a bunch of new places have Wild Heaven. There’d be even more but we need to go make more beer! (Don’t worry, we are)
It’s been a splendid first few days of being in business. We’ve been hearing GREAT feedback from all over Atlanta – both Invocation and Ode To Mercy seem to be hits. Maybe too much – we’re sorry if you hit one of the places listed on our Locator and found them to be out of one or both beers, but they all should have at least one this weekend, if not both.
We’ve seen some uh-ma-zing reviews come in on Beer Advocate. And even a couple on Rate Beer. Our favorite gals magazine Skirt! gave us a nice review, too. Taco Mac’s Fred Crudder was pleasantly surprised by Wild Heaven’s sudden appearance. And ol’ Richard Eldredge of Atlanta Magazine (formerly the voice behind AJC’s Peach Buzz) gave us a nice writeup after a tasting.
Too bad we’re not out at the Great American Beer Festival this week, but we’ll settle for the great Atlanta Wild Heaven rollout. Thanks for joining us!

Earlier this evening, something amazing happened. A new Georgia craft beer company was born. Friends and beer lovers enjoyed glasses of the first commercially available batches of our two launch beers, INVOCATION (a Belgian-style Golden Ale) and ODE TO MERCY (an imperial brown with 1000 Faces coffee). It was a great night nearly 3 years in the making.
Today we roll out around Atlanta and Georgia, and in a couple weeks, we hit Birmingham to begin our Alabama launch.
And soon, we’ll be putting together the plan to build out our own brewing facility and tasting room in Decatur. Thanks for being part of our story right here at the beginning. Join our email list, follow us on Twitter and keep up on Facebook as well. HERE. WE. GO!
